I interviewed 6 Users in order to find out what are things they forget most often, why they forget due dates, how they track due dates.
Project Date: 25/03/2021
Duration: 1 weeks
Design Tools: Miro, Figma, Adobe Illustrator
Deliverables: UX Research
As they have varied experiences, I created an affinity map to find common themes surrounding users habits, motivations and frustration around tracking due dates. Here are some of the insights
I conducted a survey with 32 participants to quantify
• Then we used the MSCW method to list and prioritize ideas & features that would help our users to achieve their goals. The most important features included:
• Centralize all the bills, subscriptions & periodic payments in one place
• Syncs with services that provide bills via reading QR code of bills
• Integrate with different billing services via API
• Displaying due dates + amount of bill/subscriptions in each notification
• Flexible notification and reminder for subscriptions such as "Manual input entry" or with "voice commands"
• A user-friendly interface for manual entries
Technically, this solution is feasible but why might different businesses be interested in integrating this with their registration systems?
Let’s assume this solution is provided by the biggest service provider. Let’s say Google. As you know many web apps are using Google or Facebook authentication, or Google Fonts or other services.
So if a big service provider offers this service, different businesses might consider including it in their registration process.
